Firearm Sales Increase 30% since election began

Just bought a new toy, an AR-15 Stag Arms upper varmint model w/24" bull barrel & Rock River Lower with match grade trigger. Found it on gunbroker.com, it was used, but only 200rds shot through her so far. Got it for $500 - $600 less than a new one.

Anyway, I was talking to several gun dealers and also to a couple AR-15 manufactures. All of them said that same thing, gun sales are sky rocketing with the possibility of Obama in office. If anyone wants a good deal on a firearm, now is the time. Especially an AR-15 or AR type rifle. Many people are getting worried that with Obama and a democrat majority in the house and senate there won't be much to stop them in passing gun control regulations and other laws through without much resistance.

Anyway, just thought that I'd pass along that if anyone was looking to purchase a firearm, now is a good time. Not so much as not being able to purchase one if Obama is elected, but since there are some good deals out there right now......

Don't just think about the firearm itself. Buy as many clips, magazines, and bullets you can. Think back to not so long ago when you couldn't buy a magazine or clip that held more than 10 rounds.

I have 10+ magazines for each of my glocks and my AR's. Everything gun related will sky rocket if Obama makes it into office. We just got back from WalMart; I bought 1100 rounds of 9mm. We'll see what happens on Tuesday.

You better stay away from claymores... they would devastate a goat poplulation in no time.

Raoul, thats funny!!! Scary, but funny!!!

S2krn, funny you should mention that. You are right, Magazines are going just as fast if not faster than the firearms themselves. The first thing they would do is make it harder for people to buy ammo......No ammo, no guns! My local gun dealer was telling me about some proposed ideas that one democrat wanted to put a max of 40 rounds per person per month. I don't remember which democrat's idea it was, but it's things like that that worry me. Also, make it impossible for smaller gun dealers to sell firearms.....

Why buy them when they could easily be made.

Probably if there is any cap on ammo, it will be rounds like 7.62x39, 5.56, 6.8, etc. at first, then they will get into the common hunting rounds I'm sure......I say buy as much as you can. Seal them in a ammo can or vaccum pack and store, should be good for a many years if stored correctly.....

Better to have and not need than need and not have!!!!

I bought a 50 bag of river pebbles for my sling shot. I have been practicing on the squirrels in the back yard.

I said the heck with it and bought a progressive reoloading press. Then bought cases and bullets in bulk, I should be good for several years.

I just bought a Sig Mosquito with a tactical innovations suppressor!! I can pick up the Mosquito now, but won't be able to get the suppresor until all the paper work goes through some time around Jan. Figured I'll just wait to pick them both up at the same time. Can't wait to shoot that thing. The suppressor will also work on my rifle that has a threaded barrel!
