curious...

just curious- I am going down in the books as voting for McCain but a lot of what I hear around me is (non-white) Obama supporters already throwing race into the mix. Anyone else hearing that crap?

Anyone here voting for Obama? (besides Mercedes Tech)

Wish we could post a poll on this board, would be interesting to see a voting poll

our early voting location was in a predominantly black demographic- direct quote here from some guy in line, and the following response:

"man, I dunno much bout either these foo's, but ya GOTTA help a brotha out- ya GOTTA vote fo'im"

""mmmhmm, ayyymen to dat"

..sends shivers down my spine.

I wish I could figure out about Obam's past. I've seen so much crap about him. True or untrue, there seems to be to many secrets.
I finaly decided "Where there is smoke there is fire". I am ready for a change though. If he would look the camera {me} in the eyes and say it's not true, I may have voted for him. Hillary wasn't the answer either.

One of the biggest mistakes{IMO} would be to pull our troops out of the Middle East at this time. We are surrounding where the true problems are coming from there, and slowing the movement of the enemy. We pull out now, I think we'll have bigger problems than 9/11. My problem is not with Islam, it is with the Radicals of any race or nationality.

Obama's a snake. He fits the mold of the anti-christ pretty good too!

I think a poll on F-150online would end up being about 85% McCain 15% Obama

IF Obama is elected, which I pray will not happen. I dont think he'll make it to the inauguration... Which will REALLY start some crap with race and segregation.

Maybe Biden wont be so bad... Nevertheless, Im able to sleep a night because I keep telling myself Osama wont make it to office.

THANKS! Im loving it!! I want to go bigger though, its addicting.

those skin heads will either turtle or run if Obama makes it in office because I bet thats going to inspire a certain group of people to rise up a bit. The way they did when the cops that beat Rodney King were not prosecuted. Remember those who were looting and causing riots in inner cities when the verdict was announced?

Could be a scary time in our country

Well, I can truly say that I won't be voting for McCain, and I'm not voting for Obama. I don't like the choices and I'm not going to vote for someone just because the other is black. If he gets it then good for him, it will be the first time in history that a black man has been elected. I just hope the rumors about him being a communist/Marxist aren't true. I'm sure if he did turn out to be one, then he could be removed from power.

i agree w/ 4.6p, i dont like obama or mccain, the choices suck for president. my parents are telling me to vote but what for? i dont like either candidates and you know one of them are gonna win. so even if i do vote, i will be complaining about our stupid president. like i have said before. McCain will die of old age in office, Obama will probly be killed in office. thats just my prediction. sucks for this to be my first chance to vote and i have been given the crappiest election as my first one.

Way to single me out fawker !!

I have said it before, and I will say it again. I am afraid to vote for Obama. I don't like him. i don't like a LOT of his ideas, and I disagree with him on numerous stances he takes.

That said, I also HATE Palin. I will not let some bible thumping MORON into office (not that I can do anything, but I wont vote for her). I don't like the lies and deceptive campaign McCain has going (wether it is him or not, it still reflect his campiagn in its entirety). I also think we need something different then what we have had for 8 years. I feel McCain would keep most of Bush's advisors, not to mention he thinks like him (90% of the time) I don't see ANY change coming from that old man. Add on his decrepit age, and his health..... I don't think he would last a whole 4 year term with out incident. If that happened, I would be afraid of just how bad Palin could make us look. (not saying he will die, only saying I don't think he will be 100% healthy the whole time)

I do not like Obama, but I do like Biden, a lot. I like Warren Buffet and have nothing but respect for that man. He sides with Obama. He will be the one helping Obama with the economy. That man, is one I trust (with the economy anyways). I like who Obama is surrounding himself with. I like the advisors he has mentioned. I think that makes a GREAT leader. Your ability to delegate, and choose wise people to put around you.

Also, for those who keep spouting false opinions and lies. Obama will not tuck tail and run. He will not pull all troops out. Period. He will stay in there, he will setup a time table, to allow the country we are supposedly helping, take control. He is not saying, the day after he is pres, he will pull every US soldier from the area. Instead, he says we need to finish what we went in there for. He will put a much larger priority on Bin Laden, rightfully so. He is the person we went in there for after all. Still haven't caught him. I agree with him here. I think a lot of his ideas, opinions, etc have been blown out of porportion, taken out of context, or completely made up. I see a new BS lie everyday, usually from some desperate McCain voter.

As for the race card. You guys say it like its one sided. "Oh no !! Black people will vote for a black guy... based on color"
What hypocrisy and BS !!! Take a good look. Its an even street on both sides. I can't tell you how many ignorant people I have heard, say they wont vote or even listen to Obama, simply because he is black. therefore, they are voting for McCain, simply because he is white. No big stories have been made of that though. Shows which camp is getting desperate IMO.

C'mon man you cannot say this. Very few of the people he surrounds himself with are what I would call "wise".

I was eating lunch the other day, and I overheard some folks behind me talking about Obama.

One said something to the effect of, "It's about time a black man got into the White House," and another said "I'm not exactly sure what he is, but I'm gonna vote for him."

People are stupid. This country is doomed.
