Being a reformed dipper, clean for 17 years now (dipped for 20, Skoal and Cope), I can unequivocally say that it was one of the nastiest habits I've ever had.

I got inspired to quit when the dentist looked at my lower lip, shook his head and told me I had pre-cancerous cells inside my lower lip and gums.

That was all the inspiration it took for me to quit.

Two years after stopping, everything returned to normal and I still retain all my teeth and gums.

My suggestion would be air and , "Quit, while you're ahead".

I couldn't help but laugh at the first few pages of guys saying flavored stuff is for girls. Real tough guys huh lol.

I chew Skoal X-tra Wintergreen long cut now since it's only about $2 a can here in Kansas. When I want something a little more bold I'll do Grizzly 1900 long cut.

What are you dipping now?
I usually switch off between Copenhagen Straight and Copenhagen Black with some Copenhagen Wintergreen mixed in there
I actually quit. Started smoking cigars then I got some weird crap in my mouth and quit that... I smoked some cigs for a little, but its so hard when you get the cravings.... I think I'm pretty much done honestly. I got scared with precancerous cells in my mouth last summer...
