What wheels would you choose?
1967 Nova
ZZ383 Stroker (GM crate) 440hp and 480 foot pounds of torque on the dyno.
700R4 transmission built to handle the abuse of the above.
Ford 9" rear end.
TCI front clip and rear 4 link. Coils and 4 wheel disks.
The body work consisted of: New trunk and floor pans. New front fenders, I think he could only find repops from an older year and had to take the fronts around the headlights of the old ones to retain the 67 look. Repaired the bottoms of the rear fenders. Custom paint. The guy that did the body and paint has won several awards around here on some of his other projects. It is a charcoal grey metallic on the top and silver metallic on the bottom. Both are factory Lexus colors whos exact paint color names escape me right now. The orange stripe is is mandarin orange metallic and it has the Chevy Bow Tie ghosted into the back of the rear fender.
My brother still has to run the brake lines and line lock, run all the wiring and complete the interior. He hopes to have it on the road next spring.

Sounds like he has spent a good amount of time and money on it. Thus far from the pictures it looks like he has done a real good job! I love the 383 strokers. I only wish I could find the money to spend a project car. Also it dosen't help that my current garage is currently full. Maybe my next house will have enough room that I can get a project started.

I've got my project Blazer going now, but if I were going to have another car, (I've only owned two), I would get another 1967 Chevelle SS. That was my first car, and will always hold a special place in my heart. Plus, THE POWER! Loved big blocks!
why is there a car lift in that garage, the cieling is to low for it to be useful id think
i haven't got tired of my restomod project. i dont feel like working occasionally so i dont, but usually ill get on it where i will really wanna work and work hard for a few days and slow back down and just repeat. ive only had the yota since mid december and right now im changing motor gaskets and motor might go in the rolling chassis tonight if it cools down.
my uncle on the other hand got sick of building his 69 stingray and sold it for practically nothing, all it really needed left was a paint job, wiring, and the interior. on an upside, i got his sandblaster, engine hoist, welder and a few other tools to help me build mine

It is mostly for space. With the car up as high as it will go he can still get the Audi underneath it. A 28' x 28" garage and he has no room, I wish my garage was that big. It is way nicer to use than laying on the floor. You can put most cars up high enough to use a roller seat under it no problem but he is planning on coving out the roof so he can put it all the way up.
