I just got pulled over for helping a friend of a friend out, who was stuck behind an office building. And of course the cops only saw me coming out, and then pulled me over and asked me a million times if I had guns or drugs in my car. I told him no firmly every time. He wasn't buying it, even after I told him I play 2 sports and have no time to mess with drugs. All I can say is I have **** for luck.

 

Did you leave out something? Sounds as if the cop was just doing his duty.

 

I mean I understand he was doing his job it just sucks when you were helping some kid who got stuck in his 2wd truck. And you go help and you get in trouble. What irritated me the most is he kept asking me about drugs after I explicitly told him no. The other deputy was cool he just asked me questions bout my tires and lift

 

That's when you just tell them I don't pertain to searches of my personal property and if they ask you to get out, roll the window up and lock your car behind you. They can go get a dog if they want

 

you got pulled over for being a suspicious vehicle in a likley drug area adn your angry the cop questioned you and let you go? you should be grateful the cop had an open eye.

on the other side maybe he was bored and was hoping to reel in a warrant to finish off his shift.

 

lol.. grow up.. sure there are gonna be a few "bad" cops out there.. but that's life, there's corruption wherever you go.. next time you feel as if your honestly getting "harassed" by a cop, just ask him for his badge number and do something about it.. just don't smart off to a cop

Well you could definitely tell there was not much going on over there because there were two cops following me, and then there were two checking out behind the office building for damage. I hope they didnt drive those crown vics down there because there wasnt a chance in hell they were getting down the trail, hell they kept asking me where the trail started back there, and I kept telling them and they couldnt find it. I just wish there were legal places around here to wheel.. everything has been blocked off or has cops combing all around them.

hey at least you got off with nothing. My friend and I were driving around town at night and a cop pulled us over. My friend was driving and the cop was dead set we were on drugs. Neither of us do drugs or even drink anymore. His truck got searched and he got a field sobriety test. The guy had no reason to think we were on drugs, this isn't the only time one of my friends have got pulled over by this officer he is basically a rookie cop who thinks he has something to prove because he had no reason what so ever to do a sobriety test.

Funny thing is while this cop and the other cop who showed up were searching the truck both me and my friend heard them clearly chatting about going to Tim Horton's after they were done searching the truck, talk about a slow night for them.

 

If your friend was a real friend then he would have manned up and come over and explained the situation to the officer how he was stuck and you were there helping him. How is the cop in the wrong? You were trespassing and probably damaging property. He was doing his job. Be happy you didn't get a ticket or your truck impounded.

Going to have to agree here. No rocket science here. Not your land, not public land, don't drive your truck back there. And def. don't get mad when the cops pull you over after trespassing on private property, And def don't come onto F150online with this "cops suck" crap b/c you broke the law and got caught. Makes you sound immature.

You're right, it does suck that there aren't many legal places to wheel. But there are good reasons for that. People keep going where they shouldn't and trashing it, and destroying the land. If I had some acres somewhere I would want the cops combing it as well. No respect these days. Kids go back there, destroy the land, leave trash everywhere, set crap on fire. Not to mention some little puss could get hurt, then you could have a lawsuit in you hands from some little puss family who wants free money b/c their kid is a F**ktard. Its ridiulous.

Here in South Jersey is a prime example. All this once public access land with ponds are being closed b/c people are taking quads and crap back there illegally and tearing crap up. And then the places where you used to be able to wheel are closed b/c people are burning crap and leaving trash everywhere. So if you have a Jeep, or like to fish, you're SOL in SJ b/c stupid punk thug **** kids have no respect and their parents are pos. AHH can't wait to be back in FL.
