Just thought I would post and say hello to everyone. I just purchased a 2004 SuperCrew FX4 F150 with the 5.4L V8, its a nice bright yellow color. I traded a 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 1500 4.7L V8 4x4 for it plus a few payments of course. I like the ford a lot better. I wish I would have test drove them when I bought my Ram.

I am looking for some tires and maybe rims. The stock rims are okay, but not sure if they will accomodate the new tires. I will end up with some Terra Grapplers unless I find a good deal on something used. Thinking about 32.5-33" tires. Will end up leveling the front to match the rear.

Mods: If this is in the wrong section, I apologize.

i would install at 2 1/2" autospring leveling kit. you can get it on ebay for about $80. if you keep stock wheels, or close to stock wheels specs, you can fit 35's. 33's will fit easily.

a few ideas for upgrades.
programmer, custom tuned by VMP or Troyer or PHP
Intake
Electric fans
exhaust
underdrive pulleys

those are the popular performance/gas saver mods

This section is fine, but Wheel and Tires would have worked, too. Congrats on the new truck and welcome to Ford and to this site. Get some pictures up so we can see it.

I would like black rims. I used to love chrome wheels. Then I moved on to billet wheels. I am now too busy to keep the water spots off of the chrome and the shine on the aluminum. Plus the truck would look a lot better with black wheels and the front windows tinted.
