So lately I have been thinking about getting a different truck. Right now i have an '03 Screw with darn near everything. I want either a '03 HD or a '01-'03 lightning. I dont know what exactly what i want. I have a buddy at work talking mad shiza on both. That makes me want a lightning and maybe put a whipple on it or something but then i also love the four doors on my truck like the HD. I also love the looks of the HD. I guess i am just rambeling. Give me your thoughts.

 

if you need 4 doors or might need 4 doors anytime soon, get the hd f150.

02 and 03 hd f150s had the same engine as the lightning but tuned down to 340 hp and had a smaller upper pulley. all mods that fit the lightning fit the 02-03 hd f150. lightning got f250 brakes, bilstien shocks and a rear sway bar.

but for either one you get just watch out for plugs spitting out. seems to happen when it gets cold outside or you are doing around 70 mph and mash the gas.

 

look at your needs. if you need 4 doors get the harley, if 2 doors is fine get the lightning. you can build the harley to match the lightning HP.

 

if you already have a screw and are willing to swap the lightning supercharger out. why dont you just put a charger on your truck? itll be cheaper and you dont have to find a new truck.
