I thought black friday was the friday after thanksgiving. The day where the mothers rush to the stores to get stuff ultra cheap.

OH WAIT!!! I remember something from last year. Like black tuesday when the stock market crashed sending the us into a depression.

 

They figure by noon today, trading will be haulted. That's whack man.

The stock market has built in check points. Once it drops to a certain number, trading is haulted. I think it has to drop to about 7,500 before it hits the first one, then it only haults for a 1/2 hour. If it drops further, the longer the haults are. It gives everyone a chance to catch their breath if is panic selling really sets in.

 

the magic number to hault trading is around -1200
