Miscellaneous Racial Slurs

Samples, He’s neither-nor. He’s other. It’s in the Bible. Come as one. Don’t create other breeds.” RICKY THOMPSON, in Mobile, Ala., speaking about Barack Obama

“He’s going to tear up the rose bushes and plant a watermelon patch,” said James Halsey, chuckling, while standing in the Wal-Mart parking lot with fellow workers in the environmental cleanup business.

But you guys are right, it's only Democrats doing nasty things Do you actually believe some of this stuff you say?

I asked if it was an isolated case, don't twist words.

Also, there's a big difference between saying something and doing something.

I'll grant you that saying we should torture Obama is a disgusting view point, but have any republicans waterboarded any of their neighbors for supporting Obama?

Your 2nd/3rd link show a site with political cartoons and anti-democrat rhetoric. What did you expect from a County Republican Party website? Regardless, it's only a website and last I checked a website can't hurt anyone. If you don't like the way they use their freedom to express themselves, don't visit their site, nobody's got a gun to your head do they?

The brick through the window is a valid response to the question I originally posed. I remember 4 years ago the exact same thing happened here in downtown Raleigh, except the brick was through through the Republican party's building. It's stupid, petty, and makes me go wtf?

Your last example of racial slurs gets the same response as your first point. Sure, it's low, ignorant, stupid, etc, but it's not illegal.

It was supposed to be more about regular everyday Americans striking out at other everyday Americans from the opposing political party.

We always have, and probably always will have mudslinging and name calling in politics, but when neighbors lash out at each other, a line has been crossed.

You don't spend much time in Cambridge I gather.

I guess you don't get out this way to visit Northampton much. Classiness abounds.

I was just out in Shelburn Falls last weekend. Classiness all over the place.

Greenfield? Classiness cannot be avoided.

Head up into Vermont to Brattleboro. Classiness spewing from every crevice.

Maybe you should change the title of your thread. Would you be happy if I found a bunch of McCain fans doing things to Obama fans? If you think this is a new thing, or that it only happens from one side, you're sadly mistaken.

Went for the first time last month to see a small concert.

I guess you don't get out this way to visit Northampton much. Classiness abounds.

Been there once too, to visit a conservative friend.

I was just out in Shelburn Falls last weekend. Classiness all over the place.

Never been

Greenfield? Classiness cannot be avoided.

Again, never been

Head up into Vermont to Brattleboro. Classiness spewing from every crevice.

Never been there either.

Just to add some more examples of how democrats/obama supporters are literally attacking people who don't agree with them.

In this one a man's home was shot up after putting McCain signs on his lawn:

Here a woman claims she was mugged at an ATM, then when the attacker saw she had a McCain bumper sticker, he carved the letter "B" into her face with a dull knife and beat her. http://www.local6.com/politics/17784129/detail.html

Wow, your first link "thinks" an Obama supporter did the damage to the guys home, but has no proof at all, and your second turns out to be a hoax. Some people are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for places to point fingers.
