Gun sales pre-election

Ok I was trying to post on the other thread and for some reason it was deleted while I was typing. Anyways,

The gun stores here can't keep anything on the shelves! My friend bought a Walther PPS last week and he said that he waited in line for a while and the store had even hired people that knew nothing about guns to sell them because they were so swamped!!! The last gun show here was PACKED I am thinking about picking myself up a 12ga pretty soon here.

The Walther is a fun little pistol by the way. Not that accurate, but good enough for self defense.

You can talk about guns all you want to as long as you keep it cool. You start posting about how you will use them on people, etc, this thread will be deleted as well and suspensions handed out.

Ok, I'm lost. It might be becuase I'm watching a movie and surfing a handful of web sites but who was threatened? I might be guilty of re-playing a joke I used 8 years ago during the Y2K scare but nothing else. What was so bad about the last thread?

I don't want to get into it, but it had to do with long guns and I will leave it at that. I believe precision long guns have their place and are a great tool for law enforcement and long distance buck hunting. On another note, I am seeing so many ARs pop up at the range now! .223 is getting very popular. I have seen some 9mm uppers and also a few .308 uppers I can't stop drooling over them

I am looking at Speer gold dot right now myself
http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...eitemid=888798

Also looking at these, but the Speer stuff is +p.

I'm shooting with a Glock 19, so it should feed just about anything reliably
I'm supposed to go out in a few weeks here and we are each going to put 100rds of the wolf metal case cheap crap through our pistols. He has an H&K so we will see how it goes. I am thinking it will be an easy win for the Glock

Like the Glock, my XD .45 with handle anything you throw down the pipe. I usually buy Winchester White Box at Wally World as thats still the cheapest. About $39 per 100 rounds. As for my daily carry rounds, it's Hornaday TAPs for extreme stopping power.

I think what Blue means, is that we can talk guns...just not bullet placement

If I could afford it, I would start building an AR15 kit here at the house. But I swore I wouldn't as my wife was bitching about where all the money goes. Oooppssss.........too many toys and not enough shoes for her.

The CCI Blazer Brass is the cheapest thing they sell at Walmart here. It is 9 bucks/50rds. It is a little dirty, but who cares I have a Glock and I rigorously clean it after every trip to the range so
