Uh oh!
Seriously, I know most of you hate Jerry Jones... But damn, that boy will spend the money and make us fans happy.
(Getting sick of politics, lets bash players and owners)

A punter will be semi easy to replace.
Felix, we were without him last year.
A punter, yes, one as good as McBriar? Probably not.
I guess they will sign the taxi squad guy to back up Johmson. I would have kept him instead of Johnson, in the first place. From what I saw in preseason. Johnson will be a sitting duck and won't last 3 games.
They would not have won 2 games of the 4 if it were not for Felix Jones. They are going to miss him, dearly.

You can have Williams, I'll take that trade over a #1,3 and 6 round draft pick any day of the week. Detroit got a steal. Now, we just need to find a QB, RB, offensive line and a new coach. Oh yeh, and a new GM.
Baby steps, baby steps...
God I hate being a Lions fan.

Detroit got a steal, but WR Roy Williams was also held down by the losing gene provided by the Lions. Now he will excell, even if he has Brad Johnson throwing to him for three weeks.

I have nothing against Roy Williams, he's a good WR who's just fed up with the organization. Can't say I blame him.
From Wiki: Ford became the sole owner of the Detroit Lions in 1964, purchasing the franchise for $4.5 million from **** Richards.[2] He is often blamed for the Lions' abysmal record under his ownership [3]. The Lions were one of the most successful teams of the 1950s, winning championships in 1952, 1953 and 1957. However, the Lions have won only one playoff game since Ford became the sole owner of the team, and have never reached the Super Bowl.[4] He is notorious for keeping executives even after a strong consensus emerges for a firing, beginning with Russ Thomas, and most recently with Matt Millen.
