Question Question about Stalling

I think I got this figured out, but I thought I would ask your opinions

Driving with no problems, I parked. When I tried to start it up again, It would catch but not idle at all, stalling immediately. It looked like it was fuel staved. I feared a fuel pump replacement. So I made an appointment for service with the local mechanic and went to fool around with it before I towed it to him.

I tapped the idle air controller and it did the same for the first start try. The second try it started up as nothing was wrong.

So I replaced the IAC and all is normal for now. It was the original for 150,000, but it was cleaned frequently.

So the question, can a stuck IAC cause these symptoms?

Yup, same thing happened to me thanks to a bad IAC. Quick trip to Autozone and problem solved for less than half of what the dealer wanted
