I'll give you this Chris, Washington is one of a half dozen states where McCain is outperforming Bush '04.

very interesting if true. obama and uginda, add it to the list of questionable associates. more unanswered questions. too bad the media will ignore it and not investigate. gotta make sure their guy gets elected.

The Logan Act? Do you really want to open that can of worms? You could arrest almost every politician, or no politicians considering the language of the Logan Act. Considering that Obama will most likely not be prosecuted under Logan violations, no one will care about this. McCain and Palin have both been convicted of ethics violations, hasn't affected any of their fans.

your so right momalle1. getting your brother in law fired for tasering a 11 yr old child and threatening to kill your family is pretty much the same as supporting a guy who instigates ethnic tensions and violence in kenya by sending his followers into villages like eldoret too burn it down and kill dozens of people in a church just because he lost an election. they are pretty much the same! no one will care!

I thought the accusation was that Obama broke the law, all I'm saying is that until you can prove he broke the law, it just sounds like another smear. Regardless of Wooten's behavior, the fact is, she abused the power of her office. Funny, you want to make a big deal of my statement, which you clearly didn't understand, but give Palin a free pass.

whether he broke the law or not we will never know, it will never get investigated like "troopergate." i wonder why? my point like i said above is it is another questionable association that he has that brings more questions that wont be answered or investigated by the media.

but you think troopergate wasnt a smear? if you dig a little instead of just reading the headline you will find that it really wasnt a "bi-partisan" investigation at all. 2 of the leaders on the panel are huge obama supporters. there pics were even on his website until 3 days ago. (hmmmm...) its funny they found that she "abused her power" but said she was justified in firing the state commish. she abused her power because she let her husband get too involved in making sure the trooper got fired because he had access to her aides when he shouldnt have. and they recommend no sanctions or criminal investigation. sure the legislation can still fine her or whatever but it wont get that far, they already got their headline out before the election to do the damage. and people only read headlines nowadays and dont inform themselves anymore so their minds get made up for them...so free pass from me not quite, she was wrong, but it isnt a nixon type scandal that justifies her going to alcatraz like i see people trying to make it. you would like to give obama a free pass by pointing to other bad behavior, but i just want to know.

now if obama were to get investigated (which will never happen) it would be a bigger deal to support someone with taxpayer dollars who has done some very horrible things like uginda has to the people of kenya. i guess we will never know.

just a personal story--i deployed to kenya for 4 months with the 82nd airborne for a joint mission, stayed in a tent a couple miles south of mt kenya. that was a crazy deployment, and not in a good way. i have also been to iraq and gotten mortared every other day. i would rather go back to iraq!
