I may get back into the sig business one day. I was just overloaded with requests and couldnt fill all of them. That combined with a dissatisfaction for my own work made me drop out of it for a bit along with lack of time. It looks good.

mmmmmm.....beer.

JBMX928...Very well said about being dissatisfied with ones own work. As a graphic designer I find that im put WAY too much time into stuff like...well, sigs. Its fun to do one every now and then tho. And the whole "sig business", thats no fun at all.

the sig business gets aggravating when people wont tell you an idea of what they want or provide pictures with a halfway decent resolution

amen to that one. it wouldnt be half as bad if anyone had some kind of general idea of what they wanted. its hard making it up from scratch, then your work begins to look the same.

I found my problem to be having 10 people at once not knowing what they want, because once that happens, you either end up making 10 sigs that look the same, or just dont do it. I dont like making sigs looking the same for any 2 people, so when i was thrown 10 at once i had trouble.

I hate when people give you those pics that have the edges of the truck blending into the backdrop, so you just have to guess where the edge is, and hope it works.....magnetic lasso makes me so angry sometimes!!

use the polyginal (i probably butchered that spelling) lasso tool and just click a lot around the edges, it works great

true....I might start doing that on those stubborn places. Can you switch between lasso styles and pick up in the same spot?
