I feel ya on the neck brace. After our car accident they thought my neck was broken, I assured them it wasnt, being that I got up and walked out of the truck, then they took me back to the truck where the stretcher was and was told to lay down on it where they promptly strapped me all up and placed me in a neck brace. I made it hell for them though, im a big boy ;-). Then they told me that I was going to be life flighted too, so I was life flighted. It was all pretty much a blur because i already knew that I lost my sister in the accident. While still pinned in the upside down truck, I had to unbuckle her so they could get her out. I have no idea how I made it out alive, for my size I dunno how I fit in the area that i was in. Anyways, back to the neck brace. I kept telling them that my shoulder hurt but all they cared about was my name and to wiggle my toes. I broke my collar bone and tore my ac in my shoulder, and the neck brace was applying pressure directly to the collar bone. Once they decided where they were going to take me, they gave me some morphine, and we learned that im allergic to morphine. After 4 hours of being on a backboard and having a neckbrace on I was pissed off. I finally told them to take it off because I couldnt stand the pain. We were in a ford truck, for a while I wouldnt want to drive or ride in anything, the fear was to great. Now, ive moved on and am some how driving a lifted truck. Life has become much more precious, but also more enjoyable because Ive realized that I olny live once, and that it can end anymoment. Live life to its fullest.

p.s hydrocodone is the bomb.

I was sitting in the back passenger side, I was 6'1 270lbs at the time. My headrest was above the roof. Somehow i was wedged just right that where the roof v'd, it crushed my collar bone.
