John McCain is the closest thing that we have ever had to a independant running for the White House..........
why dosen't he talk about how he almost was on the Dem. ticket against Bush in the 2000 election?
I don't have the info but I'll bet he has voted on both sides of the party line more that almost anyone in congress in the last 20 years.
I would think that he could steal some Dem. votes that way.
