Lightbulb Liberal Media's new ploy against McCain?

I'm watchin CNN's debate coverage and noticed an ad for an upcoming CNN special. The show is titled, "Is the next President fit to lead?" The host is one of CNN's contributors Dr Sanjay Gupta. What I got from the ad was the show will look at the health history of previous Presidents and also go over Obama and McCain's health status as it concerns the Presidency.

I guess the new push against McCain is going to be pushing hard that he will likely die in office. I've searched for a summary of the show all over the internet as well as on CNN's website and can't find it.

Anyone heard anything else about this show?

Personally I believe they have equal chances of "dieing" in office. That chance is about .01%................but they're equal.

Im comfortable enough with myself to say that Mccain looks damn good for his age.

And I agree with FX41, Mccain would die of natural causes. Back in Febuary 'Bama's supporters were worried he'd be assassinated. Being black and all... Or muslim.. What ever he is, lots of racist-types don't like it.

According to actuary tables, McCain has a 1 in 8 chance of dying in the next 4 years.

HOWEVER, one thing that the actuary tables don't take into account is that the President of the United States has the best health care coverage in the country--far reducing his chance of dying.

Do you think if McCain is president and starts complaining about "chest pains", his aides just tell him to "walk it off."

Nope, if McCain starts complaining about chest pains, within 1.5 seconds, 50 of the best doctors will instantly be there to check him out.

The average person simply doesn't have this kind of health care and simply dies from a heart attack.

Not likely. According to the electoral numbers, there's a good chance he won't be there. - Og

Liberal Media's new ploy against McCain?

I keep hearing the expression above, and in a way it confuses me. So, we have "liberal media" and "conservative media". If they don't advertise what they are, some times it's hard to tell who's who.

It would be great to see Fox advertise as " The most right wing news you will find anywhere". Or MSNBC could say " Far Left news at it's best ".

Do you think CNN; often called the Clinton News Network in past years, is a liberal leaning news network?

If anybody out there that watches a cable news network believes that FoxNews is as right leaning as CNN or BSNBC are left leaning, your have not watched it, you just suckle from the libearl teat.

I will agree that FoxNews leans right, but I would think that leaning 5 degrees right is better than 90 degrees left, can you agree. Fox does have more conservative shows, ie, Bill and Greta. BUT no one can tell me that CNN or MSNBC had a show like Hannity and Colmes. THey take a Lib, and a conservative and put them on the same show and give them equal screen time to interview the same people.

Plus it would take a hundred Bill O'riellys to make up for one Keith Olberman.

Fox news is fair.....right leans, but fair. CNN/MSNBC are smear merchants.

Fox news has a conservative agenda, period. I enjoy watching it just to see how far they will strech the bounds. I don't see how having Carl Rove three nights a week is not a big push to the right. A Huckabee show?? C'mon.

My point is that most conservatives refer to the "main stream" media as liberal, when in fact it is main stream and represents the views of the majority.

As far as the health issue goes, McCain will be fine. His big issue is melanoma, and you know his doctors on all over that.

I had to look where you live after your post. It's not Cali, but it's really close! Believe it or not outside of California the "mainstream" media does not reflect the views of the majority.
