I understand this is truck forum and all but has anybody saw pictures of the surprise from Lamborghini? I actually like the design, but I think they picked the wrong time to introduce a car like this, unless they expect to sale all $200k units in Dubai. lol It seems like the rich people who can actually afford such a car like this (but hardly ever drives it), would be more apt to have a true exotic supercar sitting in their garage! Any thoughts?

This is just a concept version they unveiled at the 2008 Paris Auto Show yesterday.

 

I like it.

And the economy doesn't really apply to top-end luxury. The people who buy those cars, in the first place, will always have the money to blow.

 

i like it. the body lines are nice and unique.

I like it. It's classy looking, got nice body lines, then you get to the front end and you get surprised with an agressive as hell sports car clip. I wonder how fast it'll be.

 

How about the 4 door Aston Martin Rapide? I'll take this one.

 

I didnt think a lot of people would like it, I think its ugly. I know if I had 200k to blow on a car it definitly wouldnt be that one.

 

The CEO from Lamborghini said it's top speed will be anywhere from 150-200 MPH. I'm pretty sure we all could have guessed that close! lol

Performance numbers have yet to be released.

 

That's not the first 4 door supercar. As EA already mentioned Aston has one as well as the Maserati Quattroporte.

 

Porsche has one coming out too-

The Porsche Panera, Panamera- or something like that.

For now, it and the Rapide are set to do battle in the same market segment.
But, that Lambo Not as exotic as I expected reading the title- but still a visual stunner...

Still, the Aston and Maserati are far from supercars! The M3 Sedan KILLS both of these cars in performance for half the price. I haven't saw any numbers on the Porsche so I can't comment on that but I would suspect they will build a far more sporty sedan. We won't mention how ugly that car is though. This Lamborghini actually looks aggressive.
