Cool App for IPhone users

Just downloaded the Lite version last night. Seems that it has potinetial, what do yall think?

9/26/2008, update from DevToaster:
"We are still working very closely with our hardware manufacturer to
create the most affordable Rev + hardware package, which will be
available throughout the world. We appreciate your patience and all
the great feedback on Rev.

Speaking of your feedback - allow us to answer some common questions
we've received over the last couple of weeks:

1. We are working on several feature requests based on your input on
Rev and Rev Lite--including data logging.
2. The hardware does not support OBD-I, with the exception of some
older European cars.
3. Neither Bluetooth nor USB-based serial interfaces are available to
developers from the iPhone SDK. WiFi connectivity is the only option
for inter-device communication, thus Rev depends on OBD-II WiFi
hardware. We will have some exciting news about that hardware soon.
4. Rev Lite inadvertently changes orientation when you take high-G
turns. We have a fix coming for you -- and apparently the DevToaster
engineers need to drive faster!
5. Yes, Rev will support both reading AND resetting of engine codes/
check engine lamps."

OBD Metrics (Requires OBD-II/WLAN interface hardware):

Vehicle Speed
RPM
Fuel Consumption
Engine Coolant Temp
Fuel Pressure
Calculated Engine Load
Throttle Position
Intake Manifold Pressure
Air Intake Temp
Timing Advance
Mass Air Flow
Fuel Level
Barometric Pressure
EVAP System Vapor Pressure
Fuel Trim

Engine Code Retrieve and Reset
Want to know why your Check Engine light is on? Rev will tell you why!

Engine code checking
Listing of all engine codes thrown by the vehicle
One-button reset of your codes and Check Engine light

OBD-II/WLAN Hardware Interface

Rev communicates with a vehicle's ECU via its physical OBD-II port. Interfacing with this port requires an OBD-II wireless hardware device that supports the 802.11/WiFi interface on the iPhone and iPod touch.

More details about this device will be coming soon, so sign up for our mailing list for the latest updates, or keep checking back here.
