Consider it an opportunity.
One door closes and another one opens.
Positive vibes.

lmao!! I would run over it too. I am starting to get some callbacks and emails. I also applied at TWC. I didn't want to but I have kids and a house payment so I do what I must. I would really prefer to have a new job before unemployment can kick in.

How many thousands of dollars have you lost due to economic conditions in the last 6 months?

Speak for yourself. I work when I want, where I want, for how long I want, get paid killer money when I do work, but if I just decide to take a year off, nobody gives a darn and my work is still waiting for me when I decide to get around to coming back. Self-employed is the ONLY way to go. One day I may hire a hot secretary.

None ... I'm actually making more money now than in the last 6 months.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work were you doing?

So, why post it? Cause now my mods are on hold. Good thing is, they cashed out my 401K on me so if I get a new job soon enough I will be able to get my wheels and tires atleast. I will reinvest the rest.

Customer service for 7-11. I hated the job. On my last annual review my boss asked me "You don't like this job, do you?" I said "no, I hate this job with a passion and I don't like you either." Verbatim. Its actually in my personel file that way. I got into customer service by accident and have been doing that for a very long time. I won't quit a job, they have to fire me. I tried like crazy to transfer to any other department but it wasn't possible. 7-11 sucks and they run their employees into the ground. Don't get me wrong, I never ever treated any of my customers with anything less than the higest respect and I worked very hard for all of them. I have never gotten a poor job performance review, I hated the managment and the fact that the only thing seperating us from slaves was good pay and no fields to work in.
