IE 7 and this visit was the first time I got one... I did not even read it to see what it was advertising... I just closed it.

What version of Firefox did you try. If V2.x, you might try V3.02. Or vice versa. Firefox is all I use when browsing F150online, and I seldom have problems. I do on occasions have problems at work using FF with some sites, but I believe that is a contention problem with the security software and those sites. Same sites at home, and no problems.
