Selling an engagement ring...
Take it to the place you got the ring from. Explain it to them that shortly after you proposed (and which she said yes to), she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. It helps if you can cry as you do this. Then, tell them you are selling the ring in order to help pay for her medical costs and funeral.
What exactly made you feel the need to 'defend' someone who obviously doesn't need to be defended? Why must forums bring out the internet-thugs. I wasn't directing anything to you nor was I being disrespectful in any way.
Sorry to hear things didn't work out. I am 35 years old, and just found my future wife two years ago.. right about the time i gave up looking and resolved myself to just living one day at a time. I sure dated some wrong ones that took me thru the wringer. it makes you appreciate the right one. Lucky for me, she already gave me hints of the engagement ring she wants...$300 bucks. She watches more football than i do, can tell me what defense is best against the option, and watches Nascar. Need i say more?
