i'm in that same boat right now, my girlfriend's son rode mine and went head on into a tree. the damage isn't as bad as yours, but it still sucks to have a machine made for riding sitting in pieces in the garage.
From your pictures it does look very fixable. Buy a shop manual for your make and year. Hopefully the main frame is not bent as that will mean a complete tear down and a lot of dollars. Start taking everything off you will need to replace. Ebay is a good place to order new aftermarket plastics (front end and fenders) for a good price. Try nyrocatv.com to talk to some other Vinson owners for some insight. Take your time and you can do it all yourself. It will be far cheaper than having it done at the shop.
