Aerojet explosion!

Ther was an explosion this aftrenoon at Aerojet in East Camden Arkansas this
afternoon. Not many details yet.
THe plant here is a subcontractor for Lockheads MLRS Rocket system.
The pictures I saw on the news looked like the area where the engines are put
in ovens after they are filled with propelant.
So far One has been anounced dead. Not sure about other injuries.
Im not sure if the area destroyed has anything to do with the patriot, but alot of motors are filled in the area.

It sounds like they got off pretty easy, not to be little the death of that person but it could have been a lot worse.

The buildings are designed to blow out the roof and one wall rather than a whole building. They are leftover buildings from the 50's cold war era.
There was a Naval Ammunition depot here. The rocket manufacturers come here simply for these expensive to build buildinbs. Lockhhead is here because of the political clout David Pryor had back in the 70"s and 80's.
