Angry Mondays SUCK!!

So I wake up around 5 because a loud storm. Don't need to be up til 615. That time rolls around and I get ready for work. Jump in my truck quick cause its pouring outside..... ****!! Spilled coffee in my truck which I've owned for just over a week now. So I head out onto the road. As I turn onto the expressway BUMP... What the hell? I hit part of the curb that I couldn't see because of the rain. I pull into a gas station and sure enough It tore part of the tire and caught the edge of the rim. F**K x5!!!!
I continue to work, and of course get soaked entering work!! No I don't have an umbrella as I am in a hotel and not at home because I travel for work. All this after noticing on Sunday that I have stone chips already on me fender lip. So that's my start of a great Monday! Hope yours is better!!

Could've been worse... you could've hit that curb then had a blow out... be lucky that didn't happen.

Also, you might want to have a pro take a look at that curbed tire... you don't want to have another "Sucky Monday" in the future.

Hope it gets better.

I can understand the storm part of your morning. Same thing happened to me this morning. About 4:30 started thundering / lightning / pouring rain. Don't have to be up until 6:00. Made it to work ok though - but there is absolutely nothing going on at work today. Wish I could still be at home sleeping.... Hope the rest of the week goes better for ya!

Double check that curb. If there is anything out of place about it, contact the city manager and have the bill for a new tire and rim sent to the city.

I have had about the same Monday! So last night my dad and I go to cover my truck because I am going back down to ODU this morning. Well my CB magnet needs to come off the roof so that the cover doesn't sit on it and tear. So I told my dad to pull back on it instead of lifting it straight up. Well he thought I meant just pull it back off the roof and drags the magnet across the paint and off the roof. I started cussing and I swear I was going to cry There are two scratches through the paint and about 100 more that MAY come out with polish. Anyways I was so mad, but it was an accident so oh well. The magnet covers the scratches anyways. So then this morning I get on the road at 530 and hit two backups on my way to school. Well I missed my 9am class and here I am. I guess the only "good" thing about yesterday/today was that my sister totaled my old car on her way to school Friday and my dad had to go buy another one for her to drive to school. It's a Ford Taurus, so I was happy about adding another Ford to the family My sister was fine, she just rear ended a van and blew out the radiator and the air bags went off so the car was junk. (we only had liability on it because it had been in 3 previous accidents. None of which were my family's fault)

next time, cut a piece of felt and stick it between the magnet and the truck. the magnet should still be strong enough to hold and the felt will help protect the paint.

Man that sucks. I keep a small umbrella in one of the pockets in the door -- I have no other use for them. I've heard these seats stain real easy (mine's new too). I have drinks in the truck but I'm REALLY careful. Ever since years ago I stained the seat of my old Neon Expresso (sorry guys) at Sonic when they brought me a Route 44 drink with the stupid lid barley put on it (@#$&%@ morons, give 'em a simple ritard job like that and they can't even do it right, no wonder they work there).
