Further, criticizing what Joe Cook might say isn't a personal attack, it's a disagreement. And, obviously, with hindsight being 20/20 ... Iraq was a mistake.
At the risk of being reprimanded by my Conservative friends, It doesn't matter weather the initial reason we went in Iraq was because of 9/11. The fact is, the people we are NOW fighting there WERE the cause of 9/11. Liberal pukes like you refuse to see the connection. Your anti American stance makes me sick. You claim to be for ron paul. You claim to be an independent. Your comments put you solidly in obama's camp. Isolationism that you believe in have caused us far more problems than it has solved. WWII was caused in a large part because of isolationism. If we were better engaged with japan in trade talks, they would have no reason to attack us. I am not justifying there attack by any means, but you liberals always talk about negotiations. We didn't do our part before the pearl harbor attacks. Just as englans isolationists caused germany to be brave and go on the attack. Your attitude about staying out of other country's business will cause far more problems with animosity than you claim to admit. Learn from history you dolt! Your just not getting it, how complicated diplomacy is. I apoligize for my zeal. I watched that 9/11 special and it got me pretty riled up.

I like the line that terrorists weren't in Iraq before we invaded. That's the icing on the cake.

Ron Paul is 100% against Iraq, from the beginning, .

WWII was caused because we pissed Germany off by making them pay for WWI chit they broke.
Also, look at the public support for WWII. There was a REAL TANGIBLE REASON to get involved. Look at Vietnam and Iraq. There wasn't a tangible reason to get involved and both were executed poorly.

History? Like Vietnam? Korea? All those places we failed because of poor policy? hmm.
You best take some history classes. We didn't go to war with germany until after japan invaded us. We went to war with germany in support to england. Your ignoring the situation with japan.. who we were at war with before germany. We had veitnam won except for the democrats wanting to negociate. There was some fear of russia and china getting involved. but that proved to be wrong. We had veitnam by the *******, then stoped short. Thank you democrats for loosing us another war. Same can be said for korea. Not much different. democrats screwed American national interests. AGAIN. When will we learn? Like I said, if we drew in the terrorists to fight in Iraq... SO WHAT? It worked to our advantage. Why do you have such a problem with that?

It's amazing the extent of the transformation that you've gone through in the past four years. Last election I was praising you for not being like most young people and actually employing common sense. I guess that's what academia does to young minds.

So you don't believe that Al Qaeda had trainging camps in Iraq before 2003?

Saddam kept who out and who under control?

Hey guys--there are plenty of political forums out there. Why don't we use this one to talk about our trucks?

Because this is the General Discussion Sub-Forum. This was meant to be used for any non-truck related debates or information. (In short, this.)

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy and learn a lot here.

One man's opinion, and only that- one man's opinion. Just like "you know what"- everybody has one - and most of 'em stink.
