Seriously, was there a post he made which was removed from this thread?

Awesome thread BTW
I don't think this suspension had anything to do with this thread.

I believe Einstein defined insanity as attempting the same action twice and expecting a different result.

On that note - sounds like a wire is chaffed and is touching the pole. When you put the light on the top it shorts out the circuit and teaches you a lesson. But that circuit should be on a GFI or Circuit Breaker making it pretty difficult to short it twice w/o resetting the breaker.

I believe it's policy to ban on sight anyone who has been permanently banned under another username.

Apparently BigMan is in that boat, but navigator05 is not.

BigMan had several opportunities, different names, etc. He apparently could only go so long without "breaking out" again. I thought that had been explained pretty clearly.

There are different infractions and different penalties.

Mattineer made racist comments directed at another member and should not have been allowed to come back in the first place. Now he has screwed up with yet another user name. I would say that he has had his 3 strikes. He has had at least 5 user names.

I kinda think the term "rascist" and "racial slurs" should go through the PC washing machine, and come out as "regional insensitivity" and "regionally misguided verbage". Using the previous nomenclature can contribute to "self fulfilling prophesies", thus being detrimental to the accused.

There is no need to "clean up" what he did. Racism is not regional. He was wrong and he got banned. He should not have been allowed back but he was given another chance. I am sure he will be back with yet another user name.

My apologies. A recent attempt at humor may have gone over your head. It was said jokingly.
