voting poll?

hey mods, we able to do a poll for the election? just curious as to how many each candidate would get. make it up to each individual if they want it to be known or hidden for their votes, and only one vote per person...not that american idol vote 1000x crap! LOL

keep the poll open for a few weeks or so so others will see it when decided...maybe even an undecided with the option to change it if they desire.....????

Does it really take a poll to see what the mindset of this board is?

why not? especially if it is hidden.....maybe some closet supporters on here!
that way it keeps it from being a name calling event.....

I think it's a good idea. Keep it confidential so noone knows how each person voted. Not sure if you can keep people from voting multiple times though. It would be interesting.

maybe the mods can see and make sure only one vote per customer? maybe keep it a sticky for awhile also? what is the next step to make it happen?

I believe you can only vote once per screenname.

Raoul, that is indeed what i have in mind as far as seeing the poll. I don't like the "other" option, i am hoping people will committ to who is actually running! McCain/Paulin, Obama/Biden, Ron Paul/????. don't know who his running mate would be though? and Undecided. So come on mods lets get this thing going. and please give the option of changing vote while all the info is being released on the parties....IE: i like mccain now, but a crazy turn of events could lead me to change my mind.....will this work out?????
