Im actually not a big fan of instant replay in baseball at all. Growing up(and still currently playing D1) the human element brings so much more to the game. Then again like most people older than me ive been taught to roll with whatever the umpire calls, good or bad, and control what you can control. Mistakes are what makes baseball different than other sports. For some reason i think this will lead to more stuff like the K-zone you see on fox and espn and will eventually phase out the umpire. Something about instant replay in baseball just irks me.

I think instant replay is good as long as it is only used to see if the ball was fair/foul or Home run/in the park since it is so hard to tell from the infield.

The instant replay should not be used for out/safe and ball/strike because it would take away from the game since almost any play could be challenged.

The last thing MLB needs is something to SLOW it down even more. I can't sit through a televised game.

I agree. And so far that is only what it is being used for. Afrerall, the game wouldn't be a game without seeing a manager kicking dirt at an umpire. A-Rod's homer was very hard to tell with the naked eye.

I spelled "replay" wrong. I hate that! RP, can you fix that darlin'?

RP, the darlin, is not around for awhile, so I fixed it for you. You're welcome.
