1st Speeding ticket

I drive fast routinely. And today i got my karma. $161 CDN ticked for 27km/h over.

Then on the way home there was another trap i almost hit. And then through a 30 zone i almost got hit with 40km/h. It might be photoradar so we'll see. but i've slowed down.

161$ for three years of speeding... no biggie

Now if you lived in Nj the state is so crooked you can buy the speeding ticket and have no points.

It's not the $161 fine you need to worry about - it's your insurance rates.........

Insurance usually lets one slip, but that's it. After 3 yrs you're clear also. I've had some and let off with others so now I don't go nearly as fast as much.

Honestly, as I age it is a lot cooler to have no tickets than too many. That said, I am losing my license soon because of too many petty points and then one big one, won't even say what it was but still going to court over it.

I have a question, just got a redlight ticket yesterday in Sacramento (their lights turn red a little quicker than ours ), has anybody ever had any luck getting those thrown out or not arriving to your house. This is going to be pretty rough on my record and wallet after I'm done with all my current fines.

PS. Try to withhold judgment, after all I am going to need a second job to cover these.

there is a reason I haven't been able to buy anything significant in almost a year...looks like my next year is covered as well.
