Alright guys, my old truck is gone and I'm going to look at this truck tomorrow.

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/800663550.html

The owner said the price is negotiable, It blue books at about 13,400 I think.
Does that seem like a good deal.

Anything special I should look out for?

It is an 03, which is supposedly the best year for the 5.4

Any input is welcome.

Thanks Aaron

I just bought a 02 supercrew fx4 and lariat package with 67,000 on it for 13,000. It was also a private seller that took care of his truck like your truck seems like he did. I did half to put new tires on it so that cost me 700 extra.

That truck looks like it was well taken care of, that is worth something extra i think. I probably would try to get him down to 13500 but i wouldn't go over 14,000 for that truck. I live in texas so the market is a little different. Good luck

Yeah I'm not going to give more than 13,500 for it. It looks to be very clean. and a nice solid color. Not the 2 tone like most FX4's.

I bought my diesel in Texas because they seem to be dime a dozen down there. Although most of them have brush guards, and headache racks.

How about this truck? New body style, looks nice, bad plugs???

I've got to decide what I want.

Not too bad... Did you check out the link I posted? If he still has his truck... It's a sweet truck for a great price.

I would stay away from 04+ cloth seats, they stain really fast and easily

that white 03 Fx4 is great looking, and appears to be in good shape

Alright fellas, I bought the white 03 supercrew yesterday. I got it for 13,200 which seems like a good deal to me.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll get some pics up soon.
