knife sharpening?

knife sharpening?

any tips on this i'd like to read, trying to keep my leatherman sharp and use it every day at work. been noticing the blade getting duller.

all i have on hand is a sharpening stone i found in the shop lol.

All you need is the sahrpening stone you have and a piece of leather. Once you sharpen in on the stone take it and run it across the leather just like you do the stone and it will smooth the edge out.

for my fillet knives i use a sharpening steel after each time i clean fish... nothing worse than a dull knive trying to cut threw bones.....
