Why do we care about our post count?
Why do we care about our post count?
I do, and don't know why. A thread was recently deleted...I could care less about the thread, its the loss of post numbers that makes me sad. Why do yall care, or don't care?
I kind of care....I've read these forums since 05, didn't post until 07, regularly until 08. I think it gives you a little "street cred" if you've been here a little while and have quite a few posts. Now at the same time, I try to make my posts "quality posts" but you don't get points for that, ha.
Why would you care about post count that was not really making a contribution? The count is supposed to be an indication of how much you have assisted other members with problems, making a positive contribution to the site. Running up count with post that really belong in GD has a name.
