Cleaning the can

So today when I took out the garbage I finally decided it was time to clean the can. The Febreeze just was'nt covering the stench anymore and anyone that has a 2 year old can tell you it get's bad! I don't think I've ever cleaned a garbage can before. Usually when it starts to stink I just chuck it and go buy a new one. Anyways, wow was that a dirty job, I pulled out 6-7 of the oops paper towels that were soaked with the past 6 month's who knows what. You know, the ones you throw in right after you took the bag out and ya dont want to reach your arm in too your shoulder and put your face that close to the lid to get so they just stay there till "next time". I also got 2 quarter's 1 dime and countless bottle caps. This can is only 6 month's old but NOWAY am I going to clean it again.....The GF thought I was crazy when I busted out the Simple Green and Armor All, Finally I found a good use for Armor all! So whats the average life expectancy of a can a your house???

I just set my garbage bags outside my door in the hallway and they magically dissappear every Mon, Wed, Fri.

Just pour some bleach in, let it sit, rinse.

I've had garbage cans for years.

I have big green dumpsters outside that get the bleach water soak once a year as for inside I have a wire frame that screws to the inside of a kitchen door and uses the grocery bags from wal mart frys etc so its like I get a new garbage can everyday
