What UPS terminal do you work for? Because Farmington Hills isn't near any of the UPS hubs that joined teamsters back in March? And making only 10/hr is unheard of in teamsters...

About 3 decades ago I worked as a contract mechanic at the local UPS center. All We did was change out parts. Believe me the pay sucked. It was the second job I had after getting out of the Army. Anyway way back then package handlers didn't make squat either.

When I was a senior in highschool in 01 I worked for UPS at the Palatine hub. I also got paid $10.50@hr but mind you this was 7 years ago. I loaded trailers, mostly drop frames because none of the other moron's I worked with could do it fast enough. That job sucked! 20 hrs a week my ***. I would be there from 6-12 because other people suck. I only worked there for 2 months before I got sick of their crap and quit. The supervisor Nick was calling me for about 3 weeks begging me to comeback. They used to come in and time me for 3 minutes, for a while I was loading/scanning 175+ packages an hour. Screw that I was getting paid the same as the broad in the next trailer that only did 60@hr. It was not a union job then I can tell you that much.....The reason I'm so fast is I have a big S tatted on my chest.
