Hurricanes, Houston, New Orleans

Since this Edourdo is hitting Houston today and is nothing more than a thunder strom it got me thinking.

Do you think that if a big hurricane hit the Houston area it would send all the rif raf from New Orleans back to where they came from?

Sadly I doubt it, they are much like a dog. Feed a stray for a couple days and it will keep coming back till its dead. Sadly alot of really great people did come over from NO, but they paled in comparison to the group of bad apples.

One family from NO bought an art store on Main and the other opened a restaurant, where I live. I gues they're not all bad.

The rest have a Golden Ticket

I can still remember the fiasco when FEMA started handing out the $2000.00 dollar debt cards to the displaced people from New Orleans. It wasnt long after that when they discovered that the recipients were abusing this aid by spending tax payers money on boze, ****, strippers, and jewels.

$200.00 bottle of champagne from Hooter's. Now that says classy.

BTW where exactly would they return "home" to? Last time I passed through New Orleans (in the spring) there still wasn't much there.

I wouldn't have wasted the money on jewels.

Most of them thought of that card like I'd think about a $1,000,000.
Just to much for them to handle. Especialy the ones most refered to. You know the one that got the monthly check and stamps allready.
