I totally just felt it. I was looking through the forums and all of a sudden I felt my stomach drop like I was on a rollercoaster because I went up and then down. I was like what the heck then I realized stuff was shaking and it was an earthquake haha.

I think that Alon at Mod Bargains is located pretty close to where the epicenter was. I wonder what it felt like for him.

There would be a new coast line, and you could be one of the first to see it.

Very minor shake up in Bakersfield. Unmistakabley an earthquake, but not strong this far away.

Hope there is no damage closer to the epicenter.

Didnt feel it up here. It was in the 5s, yeah?

We hada 5.4 up here last year, it rattled some stuff. Everything is so earthquake-proof nowadays its gonna take like a 6.5+ to actually do some serious damamge.

Amen, 5's aren't too big anymore, or it seems like that but I do hope nobody lost anything in it. I also felt nothing way up north.

And yup, for awhile there, if Cali became its own state, we woulda been the 7th largest economy in the world ! Not to mention some of the best wheeling in the country. You know you like us Klitch !

These 4-5 magnitude quakes are actually a good thing. They release the always-increasing pressure on the faults without causing damage. Its when it goes years and years without any of these "smaller" quakes that the pressure gets so large and finally slips, and boom you have a catastrophic quake.

Originally recorded at 5.8, they are now saying it was a 5.4 magnitude. Average in my book.
