Hey Dennis I was wondering if you could do me a favor and run an oasis report for me. Today I just found out the 2005 5.4l F150's are notorious for having catastrophic fuel injector failures, and i was wondering if my truck (just bought it 2 weeks ago) has ever been repaired for this issue, or if I need to take care of it on my own.

The oasis reports i've seen have a detailed list of all service records.

 

I've never heard of Oasis. I'm aware of Carfax. That's a VIN decoder info.

 

oh thats why. basically, an oasis report is a really detailed database that all ford dealerships are a part of, that keeps track of all work that has been done to your vehicle.

That's why I never heard of it. I let the stealership prep it for delivery and that's it.

 

A 97 V6 is not a good choice if the gaskets have not been replaced.

Just wondering if your still able to do an Oasis report.

I just recently purchased an 07 F-150 FX2 from a Ford dealer near me. I knew the person who did the title work on my truck at the dealer, and she found the original dealer sticker on this truck. I live in Florida, and it looks like it was original sold in California. I'm just kind of curious on what the Oasis report shows for this truck service history, and Warranty info, since it's looks like it has been sold as Certified pre-owned ones to me and ones before as well.
