Giddy Up!

I always crack up when I see that Seinfeld episode when he wears the cowboy boots and is slipping around on the icy sidewalk.

"But, I don't Wanna Be A Cowboy!"

I just bought some Ariat's last month. They fit great right out of the box.

I've got some Redwings I wear for work. They're might comfy also. Although they're a little more $.

Justin's are good too.

i have a pair of dr. martins steal toed boots there a work boot but are extremely comfortable. they have some kinda gel in the side right where your ankle is. id really recommend these if you didnt go with a cowboy style boot.

I have had Justin boots and didnt think that they were all that comfortable. I have since switched to Tony Lama and havent wanted to switch. I can be on my feet for eight to ten hours and they dont bother my feet. I am going on three years with my current pair and I am looking to get another pair in the near future.

I have been wearing "Cowboy" boots for about 50 years...you can not go wrong with Tony Lama's, but, like everything else, you've got to try different brands on and find the one that fits you best.

Who cares if you catch "Crap"...if they don't like 'em, tell them to quit looking at you!

Everyone does realize he said cowboy boots, docs are not even close.

I have a pair of Ariats that I like, they are pretty comfortable and are well made. I don't know about how long they will last as I have only had them 6 months. I had 2 pair of justin boots and thought both of them were pretty bad, they just didn't fit my foot right. I guess it could be that I have an odd foot (11.5 EE) but they just never were comfortable. I have had a few pair of Tony Lamas and a pair of Abilene boots, that I thought were good boots.

As for work boots I used to wear docs, but I think the wolverine boots are way more comfortable. Of course the last pair of docs I had was about 6 years ago.

Wolverines were the worst boot I've ever owned.

I wound up throwing away an expensive pair year ago.
