Anyone seen this thing before?

I was watching TV just now and seen this advertized... Its called the INDEPENDENCE iBOT 4000.. its some kind of weird weelchair... it just kinda freeked me out when i saw it... its kinda like a segway... anyways, check it out here... http://www.ibotnow.com/

Its been around awhile. Made a huge splash when they first showed up since they can handles stairs and stuff. Really cool, really freakin' expensive (thus you don't see many of them in service). Awesome technology in that thing.

haha... i know.. expencive... try 26,100 bucks... ill take a new truck over that...

Seen one of those at Newark Airport last year while waiting on a flight. I was amazed on how that chair stood up like that and not tumbled over. I just staired at him, not because he was crippled, but I wanted to know how that dam chair worked. I guess I should have asked him, but I was afraid to bother him with questions that he probably gets asked alot.

My father has lost both of his legs due to smoking and diabetes. It took me 5 months to get him a scooter paid for but the government. I think it was 5000. I do not think they will pay for this but I will look into it.

No kidding, considering I was almost left paralyzed and know someone who has been paralyzed for a while, seems like a pretty ignorant comment to make.
