Fastest production sports car, made in USA !

Even aside from this outrageous, 1183hp, 256 mph ride, if you haven't seen this website 'Jay Leno's Garage', check it out ! Lots of very cool vehicles.

Oh BTW, here's a direct link to Jay's review of this car; http://www.shelbysupercars.com/video-jay-leno.php

Peace,

Yeah, "Production Car". They are maybe making 25 a year and you get one at ONE dealership in the US (In Vegas of all places) and ONE dealer in Dubai.

I'd get a nice Lambo, Porsche, or Ferrari before one of these POS's. Local dealers, warranty longer than 12 months, an actual usable interiors.

I'm with you with the Porsche. The other two are garage candy.

No silly, they are making 50. I'd rather have it over a Bugatti. It's exclusive and cheaper. It's pretty close to a full on race car.

Back in the day I would have agreed with you... but with the Italians waking up and realizing their cars must actually hold up for more than 10,000 miles and employing modern manufacturing techniques their cars are reliable. Plus with Audi owning Lambo they are getting better.

I'd take an Arial Atom over this POS. Plus it's 1/10th the price with nearly all the performance (except top end).

Even so, they aren't designed for everyday driving obstacles, and are extremely expensive to repair even minor body damage.

Word. My first exotic would be an M5. OK, not really an exotic but offers up tons of performance with everyday drivability.

Well....

I don't know about you guys, but I have a REALLY wide variety of tastes in motor vehicles, and I'd absolutely love to own any one of them mentioned in this thread..... besides Porches. {yes... I know... they are fast, well built, handle great... but to my eye, they are just fugly} Other than that though....

Another one of my long time dream cars is a Viper. Especially the new 800hp ones, in Snakeskin Green paint :-)

I like the M6, too. Though I'd settle for an M3 or a 335.

Hey Dzervit....

I can't understand why you would call the worlds fastest production car, a POS..... Not your favorite, supercar, would be one thing.... but POS ?

Come on man, Mr. Auto > Jay Leno, says it's an incredible machine.... But Mr. Dzervit says it's a POS..... Uhhhh.... Hmmm.... I wonder who I should believe ? :-) LOL
Just ribbing you man. Nothing personal.

Hey, I went and checked out those Arial Atoms.... Only thing I don't really care for, is that pointed nose.... But aside from that, they look like a kick in the *** to drive.

However, to compare one of those to the Ultimate Aero, is like apples and oranges. Not built for anything close to the same purpose.
I'd rather have 1 of each :-)

The sweetest car ever made was the McLaren F1, hands down. THAT was a truly street legal race car.
