1018 BHP on E85: The First Green Supercar

Wow. The new Koenigsegg CCXR makes 1018 BHP from a 4.7L Twin Supercharged engine, on E85. The engine makes a mere 806 BHP on 98 octane gas. Oh, and the car also gets 15 mpg. Might want to place your order soon. Only 6 will be made, costing 1.5M Euro (2.4M U.S.)

That comment is for a different thread. This thread is for the discussion of a car that goes 254 MPH on biofuel.

The CCX came out in 2006. The E85 model (CCXR), came out May 2008.

I've got corn cob gas in my car right now. I made 10+ more rwhp and rwtq on it. Gains are much larger on forced induction cars of course.
