Professional Fireworks
For the past 8-10 years, ALL my friends and I have all gotten together on the 4th (or closest weekend) for fireworks and fun.
We always do it at my friends house because only him and his wife live there and the house is about 4800 sq. ft.
We usually always get a keg of beer and lots of other alcohol and make an entire day or two day event out of it..
The ammount we've spent on fireworks has grown over the past few years and we've been discussing how to get bigger fireworks.
My question(s) are:
How would I go about getting licenced or getting a permit to purchase "display" the larger fireworks. The ones you can't buy at the store.
Where would we go to get some training on how to actually shoot them off?
I coudn't attend the party this year because Im in another state on business
, but my friends all called me today and wished I was there. Expected about 35-40 people to show up.
I remember last year someone talking about this. They mentioned having the permit to buy the fireworks and how they launched them off.
Somthing about burying a 55 gallon drum in the ground and filling it with sand as the "launch pad".
Any information? I searched the web some but it helps to hear from people with experience.
Thanks!

If you want to know more about regulations PM me and I'll find out the source of regulations for you.

I know the ATF is the regulator of such things.
