If GD posts counted....
Kids.
They haven't counted since 2002.
Kids would pair up at night and have 'races' to get their post count up to 500 or 1000.
Two changes were instituted, the post counter was removed and there was a one minute delay, between posts (i.e. you cannot make a second post until one minute had passed).
Problems stopped after that, and the kids went away(I hope they were kids).
Steve turned the counter back on in 2003 (maybe accidently) and sure enough the smilie posts and other crap started right back up again.
The post counter seems to hold some kind of status for some. I recall longtime members getting upset when their count was reset.

If you still hit 500 then break it down by year.
I tried that. I apparently post more than 500 per year in GD alone. It has lots of gaps in time when I try to break it down by year. I only get abour 6 months worth of posts. That's a lot of smartassed comments.

I don't care how many there are. I just wanted to see if there was still a way to tell. A puzzle to break.

It was easy for Raptor.
It's just too hard if you have > 500 per year in GD.
I don't think there is a prize but, i don't know everything about this place.
