Anyone seen it yet? I just saw it today. I thought it was a pretty good movie .


I can't compare it to the show because i never saw it, but my dad liked the show n thought the movie was hilarious. I thought Steve Carell was perfect for the role.

Loved the series. Whenever Don Adams spoke with the Chief in his office, he insisted on using 'The Cone Of Silence'. It was clear plastic cone that lowered from the ceiling, going over both of their heads as they stood face to face.
The chief just wanted to give him his assignment and get him out of there.
He would say the cone of silence was out of order but, Smart would insist.

So, the chief would lower the cone,
they are under it nose to nose,
the chief gives the instructions
and Smart says, "Huh?"

Same gag happened everytime, they don't write tv like that anymore.
