I had a 1998 seadoo gsx for a couple years. Filling the f'ing thing is is gonna cost you about $60 for a couple hours of running time. Plus just keepign an old jetski running well is pretty hard. Seems like something always is breakign on them things. But $300 is cheap

 

I was just razzing you. I guess I'm lucky and I can ride all year long. I'll freeze my butt off during the Winter but it'd still be possible.

 

Thump you need to go down the St Johns river. I knwo it liek the back of my hand. If you put in over in Geneva off of SR46 you can go to soem really nice areas. Deep creek right before lake harney is liek a race course on the water. Twists and turns everywhere and its pretty narrow but deep.

Also if you put in a little further down off SR 46 on the other side of Lake harney you can run down the econolckahatchee river. Its also a really nice ride.

I also used to like jumpign the waves out at Ponce inlet where the surfers are. Man I miss those days!!!!

 

Bud, I love going out on the St. Johns. I used to live off of the river. Ponce Inlet is fun but now a days there are way too many goons out there. It's so dangerous to ride because of other people. The last time we were there someone had to be rescued from the coast guard before they hit each other. One of them ended up with a cracked skull.

 

I have been thinkign about gettign another jetski but for the same money I can pick up a used boat. Id rather be able to take friends/hot girls out on the boat than just one person on the jetski.

 

Either way, it's a lot of work.

 

I have friends with boats. I really thought about it. Hard. But, this is something I want to get out of my system. Boat later. This way, we can go jack around on the lakes, or hit the river, hop into a boat and float a while. Best of both.
