you won't remember anything about the ride home. My Dad said after it was over, I was stuck on asking: Is it over yet? He answered yes every time, that wasn't good enough so I tried to right the question down. I still have that note somewhere.

My nurse told us that it was normal to get hung up on one question or idea when coming off the anesthesia.

As for the pain after wards, I didn't have any, I was sitting in my room completely coherent playing x-box.

The worst part was not being able to eat so many hours before the surgery.

My daughter, who is 24, had hers taken taken out last year. They weren't coming in yet but out dentist said her lowers were coming in sideways. He took them out. This was our dentist, not an oral surgeon. She wasn't drugged up, only numbed up. She was all feaked out about having it done by our dentist because everyone she talked to had it done by an oral surgeon and they were sedated. She said it wasn't that big a deal.

I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth

Luckily, I had enough work done as a kid that I had enough room for them. I visit the dentist regularly, and everytime I go for a cleaning I always tell the dental hygenist to make sure she cleans those wisdoms real good! If I can prevent having them taken out, I will!!

at least have the dentist take an x-ray. mine started to hurt but i figured a little pain was normal. my upper and lower right sides were coming in crooked as hell and that pain was unbelievable. x-ray could have caught them early..needles to say i walked in to the dentist crying like a baby begging him to pull them.

I've known they are coming in because i can feel where they are erupting... i was playing around with one of mine that is coming in the most and feeling all around it on the gums and i made it sore.. I took 2 advil and was trying to sleep all night just thinking about that stupid pain.. then I woke up and it is gone all the pain... maybe its time I set up an appt. before they get too bad.

lol advil isnt gonna do anything. my dentist made me take an antibiotic for a week before he pulled them because he was afraid of an infection after he pulled them because i waited to long. hell probably prescribe tylenol with codiene to relieve the pain.that stiff works great.

Yu[, i was hung up on the fact that i wanted to see the teeth that the doc had pulled out. Apparently i kept asking him to see them over and over again. I dont remember the first 7 hours after my surgery.

x2!

I had all 4 pulled, aside from leaving a few small shards of tooth in my jaw it was pretty easy and painless. Had a taste of rotten crap in my mouth for like 2 weeks with the scabs. Then the tooth shards started working their way out and I'd have to pull them out using my finger nail. That didn't hurt either it was just annoying.

I had 2 impacted wisdom teeth taken out. It's not bad at all and recovery is quick.
