fuel evap line, Did she drive over anything? They rest near the frame rails usually on other side of the fuel filter. I wouldent drive with a leak, Any small spark could...well you probably already know..

Nope. I'm hoping it's not the same old problem. The V6 S197s had a problem with the fuel pumps that would throw this code. However she already had this problem and had it fixed. I just hope it's not back ...

Yeah, I did that. I cleared the code as well. So hopefully it'll be good to go. She says she thinks it was a "little" loose. Hopefully that's it ... I don't need to deal with anymore crap right now ...

If it's not a loose gas cap, she best take it to a shop.

If you've never seen a diagnostic flowchart for an EVAP code, there's a reason a leak test (smoke machine) is used for that stuff.

Gas caps usually cause gross evap leaks. Taking a wild swag, I'd say the canister vent valve is stuck/leaking.
