If you honestly think all Liberals REALLY believe in even Half of the items on the list, then I now understand your Angst towards Democrats....

If you don't believe in more than half the list, then maybe your a single issue voter (HATES Bush) or maybe your not so liberal after all. Lets put it this way... I do believe MOST liberal politicians believe in at least 75% of that list.

just as there is a difference between a republican and a conservative there is a difference between liberals and demoncrats

the points made are liberal extremest views but they are their views nun the less, as far as demoncrats go I find most of them are more middle of the road, just like most republicans are. I am not middle of the road and do not claim to be. The only issues that don't drop me perfectly into the ultra Conservative list are religion, (I am not a religious person so I don't care one way or the other)
and as far as gays go (again I really don't care about them other than they should be content with civil unions and shut their collective pie holes ) and even though I myself am not a religious person I do not see a problem with the ten commandments in a government building.

Is there bad republicans? You bet. But as a general rule, The republicans kick out the bad apples when they are found out. But the democrats don't have the same standard, and in fact glorify and promote there bad guys. How about william jefferson? barney frank? ted kennedy? Too many to name. They rarely put the scum to the side.

What would you have them do? Larry Craig:

-has been removed from all committee assignments by the GOP
-has been pressured to resign by the GOP
-has been referred to the Senate ethics comittee by the GOP

Craig won't leave on his own. The only thing left that can be done is:

-expulsion from the Senate
-impeachement by the House of Representatives

Pleading guilty to disorderly conduct doesn't count as moral turpitude, which is required for expulsion. In any case, the Republican's probably don't have the votes to expel him anyway. The Democrats want Craig to stay in office until the next election and they control the Senate.

Obviously he isn't going to be impeached by the House. For example, Barney Frank (D-MA) is currently a member of the House of Representatives. In the mid-90's, Frank's gay lover was running a prostitution ring out of Frank's apartment. If the House didn't impeach Frank, they certainly aren't going to impeach Larry Craig for tapping his foot in the men's room.

I can't say that I have, or will visit Obamas smear fighting site. I have heard about it though. From what I hear, it may be giving some slightly inaccurate information. I'm not so sure that the Obama supporters are getting the correct version of the actual story.

You can read the article for more detail as I don't want to post the whole thing here.

Here is a link to some more pertinent information:

thats pretty sad that they need to start a web site to put out the fires. I believe where there is smoke there is fire. Obama is not worthy to be a president.
