Increased Sightings of soccer moms in big trucks…

I don’t know about the rest of you but I’ve been noticing an increased number of soccer moms driving big trucks on the streets. Is this a result of the high gas prices??? Or is it just my imagination? Maybe I’ve just been noticing it more since my wife now drives my truck more than I do Thanks to the dam Oil Companies and their gas prices, now I'm that poor shmuck on the highway driving the family 4dr sadan.

Who else here is dammed to leaving their prized truck for their wife to drive because of gas prices?

Because they have the right idea, they are marrying rich guys. Attractive and rich chicks are hard to come by though...

This makes no sense. If they are married than what difference would it make? Most people share the money that they both make when they are married. So what difference would it make? It'd still be money that was being used for gass in their "big truck".

It's guys giving up their trucks that they had when they either first got married and now have kids and thus the wife needs more room or safety for the kids and the Dad doesn't want to buy a van.

The diffrence is I drive 42 miles to work vs. 15 miles for the wife, I drove my truck to work a couple times and it cost me about $30 for the round trip...this was when gas prices were just under $4

Alright so because that's the case for you, you think that's the case for everyone in the world? See what I'm saying?

So what would be the case?

Like I said it could be my imagination, but I could swear I've seen more and more women on the highway and city streets drivings big trucks...

The case would be it could be anything in the world. Not just that every woman driving a big truck is driving it because her husband works farther away and can't afford the gas.

Well in "my case" the problem is not that I can't afford the gas, it's more like the smart economic thing to do, except on weekends when the truck is all mine again..

i see what you are asking. thump, he didnt say he thought that was the case for everyone else. his last sentence was a question, asking if anyone else was in the same situation. i too have a far drive every morning. but i bought my truck to drive it. and thats what i do. haha. i have a 4 door sedan that gets good mpg, but i love my truck too much to switch off.

I think I'm getting my favorite truck back soon.
son #3 wants something a little more economical

I like this one in paricular. I'm wanting to add an expy console to it and finish the inside out in wood grain. "beatutiful" I can see it know

Also twisted chrome pipes and collectors into the side pipes.

I don't think I'll ever be finnished with it. I tell my boys when the right fururistic fuel power plant comes out, "This truck will have it".

I have never been married.
I live 2.8 miles to work.
I only pay a small portion of my own gas.

I drive my truck as its the only vehicle I own.
